Adelaide Ivánova (1982, Recife/Brazil) is journalist and housing rights activist, working with poetry, photography, performance, translation, political education and publishing. Her poems and essays were translated into German, Galician, English, Spanish, Greek, Italian, Estonian, Swedish and Russian. Her photo reportage are part of the collection of Brandenburgisches Landesmuseum für moderne Kunst (Germany), L’arthotèque – Museum of Fine Arts (France) and Galeria Murilo Castro (Brazil). In 2018 she won the Rio Literature Award for her fourth book “o martelo”. She lives in Berlin.
